Dear friends, the Prime Minister Ramzan Relief Package 2025 has been officially announced. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has allocated Rs. 20.50 billion for this Ramadan Relief Package Program, which will benefit 3.9 million families.

For the first time, the Government of Pakistan is distributing completely free ration to low-income and poor individuals on such a large scale. The government has introduced a special code (9999), where you can send an SMS and register yourself from home.

Details of the Ramadan Relief Package 2025

  1. Official Launch & Allocation
    • The Prime Minister of Pakistan has formally launched the Ramadan Relief Package Program 2025 with an allocation of Rs. 20.50 billion.
    • Last year, under the Ramadan Relief Package, many people received free flour, and others were provided with subsidized rations through utility stores.
  2. Changes in Policy
    • This time, the government has changed its policy and will not distribute free flour or subsidized rations through utility stores.
    • The reason for this change is complaints of corruption and misuse by wealthy individuals, preventing actual low-income families from benefiting.
    • Instead, the government will now directly transfer financial assistance to eligible families.
  3. Financial Assistance for Poor Families
    • Low-income and needy individuals who successfully apply will receive Rs. 10,000.
    • Once the code (0000) is received, recipients can use the money to buy ration, flour, or any other household necessities.
  4. Distribution Process & Eligibility
    • The Ramadan Relief Package 2025 will benefit 3.9 million families.
    • Each eligible family’s head of household will receive Rs. 10,000 through their National Identity Card (CNIC).
    • In Punjab, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will provide Rs. 10,000, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will provide additional funds separately.
  5. Verification & Complaints
    • The IT Ministry will verify applicants via mobile numbers linked to their CNICs.
    • A control room will be set up under NTC to handle complaints and grievances.
    • If someone faces issues receiving funds, they can report it for immediate action.

How to Apply for Ramadan Relief Package 2025?

  • Step 1: Open the SMS section on your mobile phone.
  • Step 2: Enter your CNIC number.
  • Step 3: Send an SMS to 9999.
  • Step 4: Your data will be verified, and if eligible, you will receive Rs. 10,000.
  • Step 5: The government will announce the disbursement method within 2-3 days.

  • Registration starts on February 28, 2025.
