- Only orphan, destitute, poor and disabled girls can apply in Dhee Rani program.
- Girls between the age of 18 to 40 years can apply for Dhee Rani programme.
- Only residents of Punjab province can apply for the Dhee Rani program.
Benefits of Dhi Rani Program
- Under the Dhee Rani program, full dowry will be given by the Punjab government, including furniture, clothes and daily use items including dinner sets.
- Under the Dhee Rani program, the Punjab government will give Rs 1 lakh to the married couple through an ATM card.
- Under the Dhee Rani programme, food will be provided for the marriage ceremony by the Government of Punjab.
